Senior Helpers Tasmania is a family-owned business that has supported older clients and adults with disabilities in their homes since 2013. Owners Amy and Leonie Williams are both Registered Nurses with a combined experience of over 70 years in health care and health education. They have used this knowledge and experience to develop home care services with a carefully selected team of support staff who have undergone thorough employment checks and have access to additional education and training that develops and enhances their understanding of their role.
Senior Helpers Tasmania utilise an internationally acclaimed dementia training program that is unique in its positive approach. Our staff focus on the skills and abilities that remain in clients who have developed dementia, while respecting the abilities that they have lost. We also have purpose designed Parkinson’s Care and Multiple Sclerosis Care Programs that our staff can offer more informed support.
From a single hour to 24-hour support, we offer personalised services at times of a client’s choice. Our Clinical Services Consultants are happy to come to you for a no-obligation discussion regarding your care and support options.
